PLUTO IN RETROGRADE

CARD 1: What areas in my life do I need to focus or reflect on during this retrograde?

The 4 of Cups (R) indicates that you feel uninspired, disillusioned, or disappointed with the world around you. Everything seems difficult or boring, and instead of dealing with it head on, you’re choosing to retreat. The 4 of Cups (R) reflects a period of introspection and withdrawal. You could be already retreating in your own inner world so that you can concentrate on what is essential to you and what grounds you. Just be careful that you don’t shut off your friends and loved ones or appear disinterested in their lives. Let them know you need some alone time and that you’ll reach out again when you’re ready to. If you’re feeling withdrawn don’t force yourself to go out. Allow yourself to just be in this moment or space and when you’re ready, re-integrate with the world and those around you. Use this time of introspection to check in with your inner self and to make sure any upcoming projects and endeavours are a perfect match. Instead of saying yes right away, assess the situation first. On the other hand, be careful that you don’t lose this opportunity as you wait for an answer. The 4 of Cups (R) could also mean that you’re being reluctant to open your heart to someone or to express your true feelings—choosing to withdraw and isolate yourself from the other person instead. Be mindful of how this could impact those who are close to you and consider their needs along with your own.

CARD 2: What do I need to release control over?

The 7 of Swords (R) often appears when you feel like a fraud or you are suffering from ‘imposter syndrome’. You could be doubting yourself and your abilities. An example would be, let’s say you‘ve started a new business—you may ask or question yourself, 'who am I to be doing this?' Know that that is fear talking. On the other hand, the 7 of Swords (R) could mean that you are deceiving yourself. Perhaps, trying to trick yourself into believing something even though it’s out of integrity with your true self. You could be trying to fool yourself that everything is okay when it’s actually not. Get real with where you are and address your situation head on. As a card of inner deceit, the 7 of Swords (R) represents keeping secrets hidden from others. You could be keeping a secret that you hope will never be revealed. The thought of confessing could be horrifying but eventually it will free you from the negative emotions you are experiencing. Forgive yourself and when you’re ready, confide in someone you trust. If you are involved in an affair or extra-marital relationship, the 7 of Swords (R) highlights a reluctance to keep up the charade. You or your partner may feel uncomfortable with this relationship and would much rather come out in the open.

For others, the Knight of Swords indicates that you’re quick to take something and usually tend not to plan ahead, preferring to just dive right in. You thrive on high levels of energy that inspires and impulses you to take action to manifest your goals. The Knight of Swords reminds you to be assertive in getting what you want. See yourself as the creator of your future and be ready to make or take the necessary steps to make it happen. However, the downside of the fast-thinking and quick-acting Knight of Swords is that sometimes you act too quickly and haven’t thoroughly thought your plan through. Sometimes a little planning and preparation can go a long way.

CARD 3: What dark sides in terms of shadow work to I need to work on?

The 8 of Swords could come as a warning that your thoughts and beliefs are no longer serving you. You may be over-thinking things, creating negative patterns or limiting yourself by only considering the worst case scenario. The more you think about the situation the more you feel stuck and or as if you do not have any options. It’s time to get out of your head and let go of those thoughts and beliefs. They’re holding you back. Keep in mind, as you change your thoughts, you change your reality. If you replace those negative thoughts with positive ones, you’ll start to create a better situation for yourself. The 8 of Swords wants to assure you that there is a way out of your current predicament– you just need a new perspective. The 8 of Swords is often associated with a victim mentality. Take back your power and personal accountability and really open your eyes to the options in front of you. For others, the 8 of Swords indicates that you are confused about whether you should stay or go. The 8 of Swords is asking you to get out of your head and let your intuition be your inner guidance. Your thoughts are not benefiting you right now, but your intuition is. Trust (in) yourself.

Card 4: What hidden truths do I need to be honest about?

The Page of Swords often appears when you are exploring a new way of thinking– possibly a new idea, a new perspective, new knowledge, or a new technique. As the Swords relate to communication, the Page of Swords could indicate that you’re exploring a different way of expressing yourself with others and communicating your ideas and opinions. This could lead to a public speaking, writing a book or a blog, starting a podcast, or just being more vocal and interactive on social media. If you’re looking for a sign to move ahead with a new project, the Page of Swords is giving you confirmation to go for it. The Page of Swords also represents your relationship with a person who could be exploring their own abilities to communicate and share ideas. If you need to, give yourself a break from this person. Know that they have a lot to share with you and despite their inexperience, they could teach you something about yourself. Stay open to their enthusiasm to learn more about the world.

CARD 5: What awaits me at the end of this retrograde (October 5, 2021)?

The Hermit encourages you to retreat into your own little private world to experience a deep sense of seclusion and introspection. When you allow yourself to tune into your intuition or inner, guiding light, you will hear the answers you need. The Hermit appears when you’re at a pivotal point in your life about considering a new direction. The Hermit represents the desire to turn away from a consumerist or materialistic society to focus on your inner world. The Hermit may appear in your life as advice or a spiritual mentor to raise your vibration and enhance your consciousness.

CARD 6: A message from Pluto.

The 7 of Wands indicates that you are holding a contentious point of view and could be ready voice your opinion in a public space. Be ready to support your argument and back yourself. Stand firm in your conviction of what you believe and why. The 7 of Wands encourages you to map out any potential threats or risks before moving ahead with your plans. That way, you can have a ‘worst-case scenario’ plan ready to go. Create and establish clear boundaries for yourself. Most importantly, keeping fighting for what you believe in and address/confront those who may try to oppose or threaten you.

ASK YOUR GUIDES

Deprivation/Prosperity Guides

Whether because of a sudden change of circumstances or long-held patterns of lack, you may find yourself feeling overly concerned about your finances and security right now. You might be worrying that there won’t be enough to meet your needs, so you’re trying to conserve every penny. Your fears may even cause you to unconsciously seek others to reassure you or guarantee your needs in some way. The trouble with allowing these fears to take over is that your insecurity will be felt by others and they will step back, fearful of being “used” for your security, creating a cycle of even more deprivation. This circle of fear and lack dries up the well of prosperity even further. Happily, your Prosperity Guides are here to help you reverse this vibration. They inform you that hoarding or withholding in any way goes against the Divine flow of the Universe, and it’s opposite of what’s called for to create prosperity. The Universal laws of prosperity state that we receive what we give: The Universe does not lack; lack only exists in our minds. The true source of poverty is an indication that we’ve disconnected from our Divine Source, which causes low self-esteem. This is the true source of lack in any area of life, whether it’s money, comfort, security or even better. To get back into the fall of things, your Prosperity Guides urge you to reconnect to the source by being generous and always. Any stingy tendencies, even with yourself, only keep you cut off from divine supply. Reclaim your self-esteem by recognizing that you’re a trust fund baby of the Universe— your needs will be met easily if you open your heart to receive in the universe to give. Connect to this well by sharing what you can: a smile, a compliment, your assistance, your time. Your Prosperity Guides’ message: “Tap into the premise of the Universe by sharing your heart.”
