Temperance is about bringing balance, patience and moderation into your life. You are being encouraged to stabilize your energy and to allow the life force to flow through you without force or resistance. It’s time to recover your flow and get your life back into order and balance. Temperance wants you to remain calm even when life feels stressful or frantic. Now is not the time to be opinionated or controversial, instead be the peacekeeper. Have a balanced and moderate approach to include others and bring together diverse groups of people to create harmony and cooperation.

Card 2--Green Light: What you SHOULD be doing. Go ahead. Do the thing.

Consider making a list of affirmations and reading it aloud every morning. Find some way to work positivity into your routine. Your outlook towards things can change, but you have to make a conscious effort to defeat it. For some, you are being too controlling. Allow others to shoulder some of the responsibility. If you are overspending, get control of yourself and if you are being too tight, try to relax and don’t be so afraid of spending.

Card 3--Yellow Light: What you need to look out for. Areas of your life where you might need to slow down or pay attention to them. Things to be wary of.

A big change or opportunity that you have been awaiting for quite some has come your way but you are failing recognize or seize it. The Knight of Swords (R) signifies being insincere, self-obsessed, rude, tactless, hurtful, sarcastic or cynical so remember to be mindful of the words you use and their effects on others. It can also signify going with the flow and being a sheep or a follower, mindlessly following the crowd. You need to find alternative ways to release this energy. Otherwise, you are going to explode. Take some time out so that you can first ground yourself, gather your thoughts and concentrate on only the top priorities.

In order to create a happy outcome for the situation, you’ll find it necessary to compromise. Allow yourself some time to become clear about what is truly important to you. Also, take note of matters where you would like to be open to changing your position. Work towards an agreement where everyone wins. Be open to cooperation that would allow you to get what you need while also assisting others and fulfilling their desires. Be objective about finding a balance between respecting everyone else’s points and still being true to your own.
