The Major Arcana or “greater secrets” generally reflects the aspects of the inner self, the emotional and/or spiritual growth that we encounter along our journey of life.

0. The Fool: how will the choices you make next affect your next circumstances?

I. The Magician: are you focused on the desired outcome or are you focusing on what could go wrong?

II. The High Priestess: are you keeping emotions or secrets to yourself until it’s safe to reveal them?

III. The Empress: have you nurtured your feminine energy/side lately?

IV. The Emperor: have you nurtured your masculine energy/side lately?

V. The Hierophant: what traditions or rituals have you created for yourself?

VI. The Lovers: have you outgrown certain relationships or your environment?

VII. The Chariot: what forces are pulling you in opposite directions?

VIII. Justice: are you being too harsh on yourself and others?

IX. The Hermit: how do you get in touch with your emotions?

X. Wheel of Fortune: are you attached to a particular outcome?

XI. Strength: are you exerting yourself through love and confidence or force?

XII. The Hanged Man: is letting go keeping you from starting a new journey?

XIII. Death: have you had to bury another version of yourself? What came out of it?

XV: The Devil: what addictive behaviors are holding you back?

XVI: The Tower: what was the reason you really cried?

XVII: The Star: are you an optimist? Why or why not?

XVIII: The Moon: do you look for signs? Are you looking beyond surface appearance?

XIX: The Sun: what makes you the happiest?

XX. Judgement: are there any amends that need to be made?

XXI: The World: have you created a new starting point for your soul to embark on?
