May 3: Last Quarter Moon in Aquarius

Quarter Moons dare us to change and adapt. The Last Quarter Moon in Aquarius is going to be forcing us to come out of our comfort zones. With so much happening, now is the time where we need to pause, reflect and review. The Moon is in Aquarius so our emotions are going to be calm, intellectual, driven by high ideals— but also ruthless. Watch for headaches, exhaustion, depression, loneliness, screen burnout, or feeling discouraged. There may also be miscommunication and/or unanswered or unanswerable questions.

May 3: Mercury enters Gemini

Mercury is the planet of intellect and communication and has two home signs, Gemini and Virgo. Mercury is all about facts, ideas and ways to communicate that information. Gemini is associated with cool detachment and reason. Mercury in Gemini is the time to ultimately channel for information to flow through. Both Mercury and Gemini are into facts and data. Talk may come more easily for all of us, even if the truth could be hard to find. It’s also possible that one idea will float into another which will float into another— make sure you write, journal or use a voice recorder so you can revisit these ideas later.

May 5: Jupiter in Aquarius quintiles Uranus in Taurus

Jupiter in Aquarius gives us the opportunity to look beyond the confines of our individual lives and personal concerns to see the world as a whole. We are encouraged us to think beyond ourselves and to give of ourselves. Uranus in Taurus has the energy to get up and get things moving. Uranus in Taurus represents huge changes in how we comprehend wealth, love, and abundance. It’s also all about reminding us that everyone who is here has a right to be here—an inherent claim to beauty, comfort, and joy.

May 8: Ceres enters Taurus

Ceres represents that depth of love that sits within all of us. On the other end of the motherhood spectrum, Ceres signifies grief, loss, and even our response to the loss of those we love most. Ceres in Taurus creates a person who is willing to give their all into everything he or she does, but they expect the same in return. Betraying them is worse than anything else you can do. Ceres and Taurus in this conjunction, collaborating with each other, generate a great desire for power and prominence.

May 8: Venus enters Gemini

The energy of the sign and Venus in it, would bring self-esteem and values come to the forefront. This is the time to stay alert in all actions, as the fusion of Venus and the sign’s energy can result in an impulsive nature and hastiness in everything. Staying away from long term commitment is suggested. Even though sociable and communicative nature is the main effect of this transit, keeping distance on an emotional level is advised.

May 11: New Moon in Taurus

New Moons are about beginnings—a time where things take root and Taurus’ New Moon is especially focused on doing things that are real. It’s time to make something happen that has substance to it.

May 13: Jupiter enters Pisces

This is the time to learn from our souls. A time to gain knowledge through silence; through meditation, isolation or solidarity or connecting with nature. While Jupiter moves through Pisces, our egos are pulled back and our sense of compassion expands tremendously. Jupiter in Pisces blesses us with an energy that will help to strengthen our relationships with others and teaches us a great deal about ourselves. On the other hand, one word of warning during this transit, Pisces is a very idealistic sign and, combined with Jupiter’s abundance of positivity, our expectations can become so idealistic that we set ourselves up for disappointment.

May 19: First Quarter Moon in Leo

First Quarter Moon in Leo will have you looking at how well you balance the individual ego with the collective. Is what you want to create for yourself also good for everyone else involved?

May 20: Sun enters Gemini

When the Sun enters in Gemini, the focus is on the exchange of information. The world of ideas – the intellect and mind – is Gemini’s natural domain. The Sun in Gemini is a fun and lighthearted time to meet new people, explore new ideas, and learn new things.

May 23: Saturn Retrograde in Aquarius

Saturn is turning retrograde, moving through visionary Aquarius from May 23 to October 10, 2021. This is a time to slow down and balance our social lives with our inner worlds. A time to do things that will help us to gain a deeper insight into what makes us tick, so that we can continue on our paths of self-improvement. Saturn Retrograde may actually help us see things clearer by shifting our focus from the external to the internal, which may even empower us to move forward!

May 26: Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius

The Full Moon being in Sagittarius signifies growth, truth and consciousness. Sagittarius is all about expansion especially beyond limited beliefs, beyond borders, and beyond the veil that separates us from the divine. Balance is needed.

May 29: Mercury Retrograde in Gemini

As communications break down and show you different perspectives, try to take the opportunity to say what you believe to be true in regards to your desires and dreams. Take a moment to re-evaluate what is fundamentally right for you, and where others might have influenced you by projecting opinions that are not right for you
