🎭 April Monthly Forecast 🎭

April 3: Mercury enters Aries

When Mercury is in Aries, we are less concerned with objective viewpoints and explanations, and more concerned with reaching a decision…quickly and impulsively. Our thoughts and ideas are evolving and we tend to speak more spontaneously and directly with the planet of communication in bold and assertive Aries. Mercury in Aries is also great for opening the lines of communication and giving us the encouragement we need to say exactly what we think and feel.

April 4: Last Quarter Moon in Capricorn

New Moons represent a rebirth and are generally a good time to set (new) intentions. Capricorn is a practical sign that will help us approach our hopes and dreams in a practical and responsible way. Capricorn is teaching us a very important lesson about how to set boundaries and how they can help us in the long run. By tapping into our self-disciplined side, we will be able to set intentions and pave a path towards a happier and more harmonious life. On this day listen and pay attention to what your mind and your body tells you during this new moon. You might receive some eye-opening messages.

April 6: Aquarius Jupiter semi-square (blocks energy coming from) Aries Chiron

Chiron in Aries is where you feel like you don’t have the right to be yourself. Aries are concerned with the affirmation and reassurance of the self but Chiron challenges this affirmation of the self, with the purpose of finding a higher order. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac – is all about the individual, about impulse, passion, instinct, “Me first” attitude. Aries is how and where we assert ourselves, where we go for what we want, and how to express our uniqueness. Chiron is where we feel wounded, ashamed, broken, and inadequate. Chiron challenges Aries’ expression of ourselves and the expression of individuality. Chiron in Aries is about the greatest wounds of all – the wound of identity. When Jupiter enters Aquarius our minds are triggered and our eyes are open wide. Look beyond the limits of our individual lives and personal concerns to see the world as a whole. Think beyond yourself and give to yourself.

April 9: Aquarius Saturn trine Gemini True Node

Saturn is our strict teacher who is able to ruthlessly examine our maturity. Saturn in Aquarius has a lot to offer, they may not communicate that effectively enough. The nodes (south and north node) are two points in our astrological chart that possess information about one's karmic past and soul-destined future.

April 11: New Moon in Aries

Expect ego hits and emotional meltdowns on this day, but think of this as your seasonal shedding. In order to embrace the new, we have to let go of what we’ve outgrown. With the Moon in Aries, we’re all a little bit faster or impulsive to react. We may become more intrigued by doing something we’ve never done before. This is the time to think about the things in life that you want to explore. Plant the seeds.

April 12: Juno Retrograde

Juno is a symbol of long term commitments, relationships, compromises, marriage, devotion, loyalty, betrayal, infidelity, disappointments, etc. This retrograde can raise questions about a contract or agreement. The details may be vague or one person might be unwilling to give a straight answer. Unspoken relationship beliefs are at odds with what’s being said. Power struggles can also be a possibility due to potential communicating issues with Juno in Retrograde. Juno now is forced to consider internally over relationships due to the nature of a retrograde.

April 14: Venus enters Taurus

This is a time of heightened sexual connection. Venus in Taurus centers on the physical world and creature comforts — they revel in sensual surroundings. This is a very sensual time, with an increased focus on physical touch and pleasure. April 19: Mercury enters Taurus

When Mercury is in Taurus, the mind slows down to take in sensory perceptions. In Taurus, Mercury seeks to create things that are enduring, tangible and stable. Ideally, what is created is a reflection of deeply held values. There's a need to have something to show for the effort, like growing wealth and possessions. This is a mind geared toward consistent effort over time with the expectation of abundance. Don’t lose the ability to stay open-minded so we can overcome this stubborn resistance to whatever is new or different.

April 19: Sun enters Taurus

Sun in Taurus seems more firmly rooted in the physical world than the other signs, and so, can be as immovable as a mountain. The drive to establish and maintain a sense of security is important and there is a profound emotional connection between physical objects and a strong sense of self-worth. The gift of Taurus is being able to savor the moment.

April 20: First Quarter Moon in Leo

April 20: Vesta Direct in Virgo

Vesta symbolizes the manner in which we choose to handle the issues we encounter at work, the sacrifices we make for someone or something, our devotion to someone or something, our integrity, as well as the problems we have because of abstaining from intimacy and personal relationships or fearing them. On this day we may become compulsive about serving/helping others. There’s a serious and very driven need to meet our goals. Learn to relax and enjoy. Be sure not to suppress any thoughts, feelings or wishes.

April 23: Mars enters Cancer

With Mars in Cancer, you will act at the mercy of your moods. It can be difficult for you to try something new as you tend to be inhibited by insecurity. Watch out for over-sensitivity and self-protection.

April 26: Full Moon in Scorpio

There may be a tendency to try and protect your vulnerability so set some intentions and think about how you can grow and heal.

April 27: Pluto Retrograde Capricorn

Pluto is the planet of rebirth, transformation, and restoration, so this transit promises healing and change in your personal life and in the wider world. Pluto is in the sign of Capricorn— which means desires, both sexual and not, will resurface. In Capricorn, Pluto Retrograde forces us to honestly consider our goals and they ways we are sabotaging ourselves. Allow Pluto Retrograde to point out our weak points so we can put the control back in our possession.
